My “Why”

My personal journey with weight loss and weight-maintenance inspired me to begin coaching. Learning how to repair my relationship with food, and find a happier and maintainable weight in the process, has transformed me and my values. It’s taught me that I can trust in myself, that I can accept and love my body, and that no matter what life throws at me, I always have power to make gradual changes to my situation, and increase my happiness over time.

After coming to a happier place with food and my weight, I began to see how so many women struggle with the same things I have. I see how the unique way we approach the world impacts our relationship with food, and causes unnecessary stress, new health problems, low energy, and poorer quality of life. I wanted to apply my confidence, calmness, and compassion in helping other women repair how they relate to food and their weight.
