My Approach
My services don’t provide faceless and generic nutrition advice.
If you work with me 1:1 through coaching, I won’t be writing up your grocery lists or prescribing what you should do. I will use our first session to listen to your situation, ask you about your goals, your motivations, and what you envision “success” will look like for you. We will set milestones towards your goal, and if needed, we will experiment with changes you want to make to your meals, meal timing, or other supporting habits. We’re going to work WITH your personality, not against it.
When you run into difficulties in meeting whatever milestone you’ve set, we will debrief to uncover whether there’s a foundational behavior that could be helpful to work on first.
Setting timelines on weight-loss can cause unnecessary frustration and stress, which usually causes us to give up. This is because we don’t have direct control over the speed of the scale. Instead of putting all our energy towards sticking to a timeline, we will focus on 2 things that are fully within your control:
