My name is Megan Gaul, and I’m your Accelerate 1-1 Health Coach. I lost 100 lbs and I have been keeping it off since 2018.

Since then, I have not found a comprehensive and efficient program that truly would have helped me develop my weight-loss skills in the quickest time-frame. So I created one.

    1) Experience-Inspired: My name is Megan Gaul; I’m your 1-1 health coach for Accelerate. I’ve lost 100 lbs. I have been keeping it off since 2018. And I’m here to guide you through every step of the way.

    2) Compatible with You: You don’t have to follow anyone else’s food rules. Your favorite foods and flavors can stay in your life. I help you make that a reality.

    3) Obsessed with your Next-Step: Going alone means losing motivation and getting stuck and confused. With Accelerate, your path is structured, simple, and clear.

    4) The Fastest (because we banish guesswork): Your time is invested in learning weight-loss skills as fast as possible. When these simple actions are streamlined to the max, they no longer have to take your over your life in order for you to keep the weight off.

  • In Accelerate, we stay on the most efficient path to weight-loss. While other programs give you rules on “what” and “when” you eat, we bring all our focus to the “how much.”

    This means that no foods are off limits. Your favorite foods and flavors stay in your life. All your dietary recommendations must come from your personal doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, or medical care-team.

    In Accelerate, I teach you the step-by-step way to collect accurate data about how you’re fueling yourself right now. I teach you how to look at that data, choose what you want to change, and make that change efficiently and permanently.

  • I respect honesty and clarity. I know that my clients respect this too, so here’s what to expect when you join Accelerate:

    Your Onboarding: 6 whirlwind weeks where you master your weight-loss skills, become an expert in your current intake, and build up your Healthy-Action Speed.

    —This includes an immersive, quick-paced, and focused first week .

    —While some lose weight during Onboarding, that is not the goal. The goals of Onboarding are gathering your unique data and increasing your Healthy-Action Speed. This focused period makes your journey as efficient as possible.

    Your Intensive: A powerful session where you and I analyze the data we’ve collected during Onboarding, and calculate how to move forward most efficiently.

    Your Weigh-Loss Phase: A “graduation” to the main program, where you put our calculations into practice.

    Losing fat means making changes, and losing fat efficiently means making immersive change, from the very start of the program. So, you can expect this program to require a time-investment towards your weight-loss goal.

    Ask yourself 3 questions:

    1) Am I ready to make health my main focus right now?

    2) Am I willing to make a change to my life right now?

    3) Am I willing to devote daily time to this goal?

    As an experienced weight-loss warrior and professional health coach, I know that the “what” and “when” are not efficient ways to achieve fat loss. My program simplifies everything by getting to the heart of the issue, the “how much.”

    This is different from Noom, which grades your food on a red-yellow-green scale.

    —This is different from WW, which penalizes you by inflating the points of fun foods and making Greek Yogurt and skinless chicken breast zero points.

    —This is different from personal training, which prescribes you pre-workout snacks and post-workout shakes, gives you an exercise regimen, and tells you when to stop eating carbs for the day.

    —This is different from Optavia or Nutrisystem, who send you expensive meals and snacks that don’t really work in a normal life.

  • When you enroll in Accelerate 1-1 Coaching, you receive 3 pillars of support to enable your success.

    Here’s what’s included in each of those pillars:

    1. Core Coaching:

    MOTIVATIONS SETTER: A provocative exercise where you’ll uncover your motivations for pursuing weight-loss, and generate a clear picture of what success looks like .

    WEEKLY 1-1 COACHING SESSIONS: This is the meat-and-potatoes. My goal for each of these sessions is that A) you are clear on your next steps and strategy for the coming week, B) you have challenged your thinking about at least one aspect of your journey, and C) you are 80%-100% confident that you can accomplish the strategy we laid out. I also hold you to your intentions from the previous meetings .

    METRICS TRACKING LESSON: Since you are working WITH someone on this goal, you will be held accountable to tracking the metrics that matter most for weight-loss. Usually that’s a food journal (recorded using a food scale) and your body weight over time.

    •IF APPLICABLE: MAINTENANCE CALORIE ESTIMATE CALCULATION: This is only for clients who are tracking their calories, using a food scale, and tracking their body-weight at least 3 times per week. Once we have this data, I’ll walk you through step-by-step how to calculate your maintenance calorie estimate. This is powerful stuff: your journey becomes 100 times clearer when you know your maintenance calories and your preferred deficit calories.

    2. Accountability:

    WEEKLY STRATEGY SHEETS: This tool makes your 7-day action plan is crystal clear (no more forgetting what you’re supposed to be doing mid-week).

    WEEKLY CHECK-INS: A 5-minute accountability form that you fill out before each coaching session. Clients share that this motivates them to actually DO the action-plan (not just say they will).

    EMAIL ACCESS: Email me at any time (I answer within 24-48 hrs excluding weekends). If your strategy isn’t working, if something unexpected comes up, if you forgot to ask me something, or if you just want to share an update mid-week, I gotchu.

    3. Big-Picture Mndset Development:

    GOALS AND STRATEGY WALL: These are powerful one-pager tracking sheets that you want to keep all in one place (I recommend a corkboard, a vision board, tacking them to a space in your office, or in a dedicated 3-ring binder). This is how my clients keep the Big-Picture all in one place (so they don’t get lost in the weeds, and forget where they’re actually trying to go).

    DATA & METRICS REVIEW: (within the first 3 months) to understand how you’re progressing towards your vision of success, and to give yourself the chance to celebrate your hard work and progress.

  • We meet once per week through video-call, in a 45-minute session. Make sure you can find a quiet environment in your home or workplace where you will not be interrupted.

    We get to know each other. It’s important for us to be on the same page, every step of the way. Our first session is an opportunity for you to share your motivations, the positive changes you want to see as a result of your weight-loss, and what your history is like. It’s also a chance to discuss the logistics involved in your goals, and how the Accelerate approach works to move you in that direction. Plus, you’ll receive the assignments, skill-building exercises, and tools-list that you need to start your Onboarding.

    We empower you with action-goals and “homework” for the week, formulated to build your habits one-by-one. We chat about what you have coming up in the next seven days, to make sure your action-goals and homework are reasonable and achievable.

    We create data-collection systems like a food journal, average-body-weight-over-time, and habit-tracking. This helps us use numbers and measurements (rather than subjective feelings) to evaluate your success and celebrate your awesome progress. This also arms you with the knowledge you need to continue towards your final happy weight, even beyond coaching.

    We stay in contact. As a coach, I’m available by email or text for questions or problems that pop up mid-week.

  • Time Investment:

    1. Direct Coaching Time: 45-minute sessions once-per-week, plus a little time spent each evening or each morning to update your Habit Tracker and send your coach information.

    2. Reclaimed Time: This is the time that you will start spending on your health. In the Accelerate Program, there is a heavy time investment at the beginning of the program, so that you can increase your Healthy-Action Speed. This helps your weight-loss take up less of your time in the future (you’ll be practiced and efficient, sp your Healthy-Actions will be a breeze going forward).

      Don’t forget to account for this reclaimed time as an investment in your Future-Self!

    Financial Investment:

    1. Joining Accelerate 1-1 gets you 4 months of support. My goal is to get you independent as quickly as possible. The first 6 weeks is our Onboarding Phase, followed by your graduation to the main program. Each phase has a unique structure and specific milestones for you to achieve. The Accelerate 1-1 Program is $1,700.

    2. After the 4 months, you continue in Accelerate at your own discretion. Everyone’s journey is unique, and there are so many aspects to sustainable weight-loss that require different amounts of coach support. With Accelerate: Deepen, you continue 1-1 coaching sessions, strengthen your new lifestyle, and deepen your ability to sustain it for the long-haul. You can join Accelerate: Deepen on an ongoing monthly basis.

    3. For Accelerate 1-1 , clients pay in 1 or 2 installments. For Accelerate Deepen, client payments are processed monthly. needed, other payment plans are available on request.
